The ‘Seedbed Project’ is based on Awaji island, a nature rich island located in the Seto Island Sea roughly 40 minutes by car from Kobe. ‘Tane no Chikara’, is an organisation working on a project that aims to create a strong sustainable community by managing an abandoned 3 ha farm where various animals coexist. This workshop is designed to help participants understand a sustainable point of view through actual cultivation.

During the workshop participants will work together to build and co-create a part of the village called ‘Seedbed’ which is located on the farm. This experience is designed to create a shared inspirational feeling through co-creation that will have a lasting positive impact on the group as well as the local community. Experience the great outdoors and an activity that allows anyone form any nation, background, age, or gender to communicate non-verbally.

*The content of workshop changes depending on the season and includes cultivation, building an earthbag house, and other farming experiences based on natural cultivation methods.
