The original Rokkosan Hotel was built in 1929, as an annex of Takarazuka Hotel and in 2007 it was designated a heritage of Industrial Modernisation. After two years of restoration under the direction of the master Italian architect Michele De Lucchi, Rokkosan Silence Resort has revived the site to its original beauty.
