World Hall (Kobe Port Island Hall) was the second facility in Japan to have a 3,100 square meter arena capable of hosting international indoor track and field competitions. With a maximum capacity of 8,000 people, the hall has 3,528 fixed seats in the 2nd and 3rd spectator balconies and about 4,500 in the arena floor, and can be utilized for many purposes including concerts, sporting events, international conferences, reception parties, trade fairs, and school entrance and graduation ceremonies.
